Mini samoan weaving made of white florist ribbon

Hello and welcome.  Rather than leaving you with a generic post I am sharing my 2nd product of weaving.

This mini Samoan mat is woven out of the remnants of florist ribbon from my 1st ever attempt at weaving.

The intricacy and beauty during the process of weaving this has left me with a new found appreciation for all the fine mats (ie toga) and their weavers hours of love, labour and patience.

This website will be dedicated to delving deeper into the richness and beauty of my Samoan heritage.
